REGASIR and Proof-of-Business

The REGASIR logo visualizes the 3 phases all robotics startup companies go through:

In the 1’st phase of 1-3 years the robotics startup develops it’s robotic product. This is illustrated under the letter G in the logo as a flat line illustrating sales has not yet started.

Then the robotics startup enters into a 2’nd “greenfield” phase of 2-4 years where they basically have to learn and build recipes for how to be succesful in sales, marketing and customer service as well as all other main functions in the company. This is where the first customers enter, sales growth starts and proof-of-business is gradually created. This is illustrated by the sales curve gradually pointing upwards and taking off over the A letter in the logo. This phase is where the advisory service from REGASIR is mainly focused.

After the proof-of-business has been established the company is ready to enter into a 3’rd scaling phase shown as a continued curve after the letter A in the logo.

Industrial researcher at Odense Steel Shipyard. Development of collaborating robots, logistics robots and AI based decision-support systems (DSS) built and run as a parallel processing application on 15 large Silicon Graphics computers; the DSS captures experience from running robots in production and formalizes it in an AI based planning and scheduling system for giving decision support to engineers during design of new types of ships.
